HERBS is a collaboration between sound artist’s Kamal Sabran of Space Gambus Experiment and drummer Reza Othman of Rao.

recordings commence on July of 2020, with Reza Othman records his drums in Goodbeats ,selangor,Malaysia while Kamal Sabran recorded in ipoh experimental art school in Ipoh, Malaysia.

From using “standard” microphones to toy(s) and flea market findings mic’s,80’s Walkman,reel to reel recorder,Analog Synth, Electric Guitar, Bass and Sampler.synthesizers.

results show that there are as many answers as there are questions, that in seeming chaos there is order, and within that order there are undiscovered and waiting to be re-discovered,the sound and textures that meditates among us, like old Herbs in the forgotten Apothecary’s.
